Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Input patient demographics and process prescriptions using prescription software.
- Screen and verify refills, avoiding duplicates and ensuring accurate dosage/strength entry.
- Check for third-party coverage, billing accuracy, and insurance compliance.
- Handle pharmaceuticals: remove drugs from stock, count, pour, mix, label, and package as needed.
- Utilize patient identification (two methods) during patient will-call.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Support the pharmacist in daily operations and adhere to safety standards.
- Follow all regulatory rules and guidelines to maintain compliance
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) [or state-specific requirements].
- Proficiency in prescription processing software and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical safety and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Schedule/ Shift: MONDAY - FRIDAY 9-5:30 (30 min lunch) & Every other Saturday
