Wellstar MCG is seeking dedicated Health Information Management (HIM) Specialists to join our on-site team in Augusta, GA. These roles are key to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of digital health records during an exciting time of departmental growth and workflow evolution.

What You'll Do:
Prep and organize patient medical records for digital scanning
Operate scanners, verify image clarity, and upload to the EHR system
Accurately index records in Epic and OnBase
Assist with backlog cleanup projects and correct flagged batches
Follow HIPAA compliance standards and internal quality benchmarks
Collaborate with peers and leadership to maintain smooth HIM operations
What You Bring:
1-2+ years of HIM support experience (prepping, scanning, or indexing)
Experience using Epic and OnBase preferred
Background in a hospital or healthcare facility
Strong time management, reliability, and ability to stay focused on detailed tasks
Schedule Options:
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hr
