We are seeking a qualified candidate to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and manage a skilled and dedicated pharmacy staff. The ideal individual will possess strong pharmacy management, communication, and clinical skills, along with a personable and approachable demeanor. Experience in long-term care pharmacies, assisted living, and hospice settings is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Judgment and Decision Making in considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
- Strong leadership skills to lead by example, supervise staff, and oversee all daily operations to keep the pharmacy running efficiently and legally
- Excellent customer service skills to develop good relationships with the facility, the physician and all internal company personnel
- Excellent communication skills to employees at all levels in the organization, as well as externally
- Strong computer skills to enter prescriptions into company systems
- Strong math skills used to manage inventory and track pharmacy costs
- Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Oversee 10-12 employees
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum BS degree in Pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in Arkansas
- Good standing with the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy
Schedule/ Shift:
M-F: 9am to 6pm *may require working nights/weekends if necessary*
