As a rapidly expanding, privately operated National Long Term Care pharmacy provider, we are seeking a passionate individual who is energetic, patient-focused, and has strong critical thinking abilities. The ideal candidate will excel in both written and verbal communication and be committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary.
- Assist with phone calls, as necessary.
- IV experience and LTC experience is a plus.
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers' orders.
- Adhere with all compliance requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain required Continuing Education credits
- Maintain current licensing in Arkansas
- Must be a Certified Registered Pharmacist
Schedule/ Shift:
Day Time Shift: M-F: 9am to 6pm; on-call (every 3rd weekend)
Overnight Shift: M-F: 9pm to 7am; *7 days on/7 days off*
