Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, start between 6 AM - 8 AM (30-minute lunch)

Job Description:
The Health Information Management Specialist will be responsible for prepping and scanning medical records into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in document processing, scanning, and handling patient records in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare medical records for scanning into the system.
- Scan paper charts into digital medical record systems.
- Assist in transitioning documents from legacy EMRs into Wellstar MCG workflows.
- Work closely with the indexing team to ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and health system policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Epic and OnBase experience required
- 1+ years of medical records, prepping, and scanning experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working under productivity metrics
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
