We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is focused on providing life-saving dialysis treatment in a collaborative, outpatient clinic setting. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing education to patients, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, monitoring patient outcomes, administering medications, and participating in quality improvement projects. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists, to deliver comprehensive care to patients during dialysis.
Our outpatient clinics offer a consistent weekly schedule with Sundays off, ensuring a healthy work/life balance. You will build lasting relationships with your patients and witness the direct impact of your care on their well-being. PSKC is also willing to train RNs who are interested in transitioning into the dialysis field.
Visa sponsorship is available for candidates with prior nursing experience (dialysis experience preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide education to dialysis patients and their families.
- Supervise Dialysis Technicians and ensure the smooth running of treatment.
- Adjust treatment plans per standing orders and monitor patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care standards.
- Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and dialysis treatment monitoring.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, care coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to assess care plans and patient needs.
- Serve as the charge nurse, managing daily operations at the assigned clinic.
Schedule/Shift:
- Schedule: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (40 hours per week)
- Additional Schedule Information: Clinics are open Monday-Saturday, with varying shifts.
Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:
- Degree: Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ASN acceptable).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multistate Nurse Compact License (Please include credential # in submission).
- Certifications: Current CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Experience:
- New grads accepted in some locations.
- Ideal Target: RN with 1-3 years of experience.
- Perfect Candidate: RN with 1+ years of dialysis experience.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Previous Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis experience.
- Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing.
