Schedule: M-F Business hours with preference on EST hours.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to all regulatory obligations as we continue to expand our client base. You will be instrumental in managing and maintaining policies and procedures related to state reporting, licensure, pharmacy reimbursements, and more. Reason for Need: The Compliance Leader requires a dedicated specialist to effectively manage critical compliance systems and projects to support our ongoing growth.
Hiring Model: Indefinite Length Contract with a strong anticipation of converting to a Full-Time Employee (FTE) based on strong performance and projected organizational growth in 2025.
Summary of Role: As our client base expands, the need to ensure comprehensive adherence to all regulatory obligations. This Compliance Analyst will be critical in the effective management of policies and procedures, particularly concerning state reporting, licensure requirements, and pharmacy reimbursement processes.
Responsibilities:
REPORTING:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and support for all state and federal reporting requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments and external regulatory agencies.
- Take ownership of the timely and accurate submission of all required regulatory reports, including drug pricing, fees, and rebates, as well as the percentage of prescriptions filled by retail versus mail order pharmacies.
- Lead and coordinate reporting efforts directed to state and federal regulatory bodies.
- Partner with IT, Finance, and other relevant departments to identify and implement automation strategies for data collection and reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop, document, and implement clear policies and procedures for state and federal reporting activities.
RESEARCH:
- Proactively conduct thorough research and analysis of new and evolving laws and regulations that may impact our reporting obligations, licensure requirements, fair pharmacy audit and appeals processes, accurate drug pricing, and transparency in rebate agreements.
PROJECTS & ADMINISTRATION:
- Provide dedicated support in the planning and execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives.
- Maintain and meticulously update critical databases and tracking systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize professional and accurate correspondences, comprehensive reports, and other essential documentation.
- Efficiently screen and evaluate incoming and outgoing correspondence, proactively preparing thoughtful and appropriate responses as needed.
- Prepare internal administrative requests, such as check requests and IT service requests.
- Actively foster positive and productive interdepartmental relationships, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Identify and champion opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement to proactively mitigate potential organizational risks.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall compliance function.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience is preferred.
Experience:
- 1–5 years of demonstrable experience in compliance management, preferably within the PBM environment. Experience at a Health Plan or other pharmacy-related organization will also be considered.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research and adapt quickly to evolving state and federal regulatory changes, including those related to reporting, licensing, and auditing.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships across all organizational levels, both internally and externally, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- Comfortable and capable of managing projects independently from initiation to completion.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to research.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as HIPAA is a plus.
