Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions. Responsibilities include ordering diagnostic tests, recording physical findings, and collaborating with physicians to create comprehensive patient care plans. The role involves prescribing treatments, administering medications, and practicing strong nursing autonomy in patient care within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health assessments.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Formulate patient plans and prognoses.
- Collaborate with physicians and health professionals for comprehensive care plans.
- Prescribe and recommend treatments.
- Provide thorough patient education plans.
- Ensure effective patient flow and manage patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and inventory control.
- Maintain clinical environment cleanliness and patient safety.
- Respond to life-saving situations following standards and protocols.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s of science degree in nursing (BSN).
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) programs available.
- Certification in NCLEX-PN.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as an APP in an Urgent Care OR Emergency Room setting
Qualifications
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence with computer use and EMR systems.
- Proficient at intravenous access for blood draw and drug administration.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as an APP in an Urgent Care OR Emergency Room setting

Schedule / Shift
Center-Based. Requires working in a clinical setting with a moderate noise level and potential exposure to infectious diseases.
